Course was easy to follow with everything needed available on Laulima.
The lecture transcripts that Dr. Baybars Karacaovali provided was very helpful.

I took a completely asynchronous class last semester and the course was not as organized as this course was. The fact that Professor Karacaovali not only provided handouts for the lecture videos, practice problems, and transcripts really shows how thorough and considerate he is.
Very understanding Professor and gives you all of the tools and materials you need to be successful.

I don't know how but Baybar managed to make economics somewhat interesting to me. I never felt too bored or lacking motivation when watching lectures or taking quizzes. The lectures are not "dry" and through do-it-yourself examples in the lectures I was able to stay engaged.

I wish the videos that were posted for this asynchronous course were more organized and easier to follow. But overall, I learned a lot!
Professor Baybars was very helpful with how he set up the course content. He gave students enough time to finish each assignment each week and he always payed close attention to everyone’s grades.
I liked how the instructor formatted the course and all of the assignments that he assigned were good. I also liked the videos that he made for each topic because it was easy to learn from them and even when some concepts were hard he would give examples to help us better understand the concept.

Sunday is not the best time of the week for assignments to be submitted. I believe a higher class grade average would result from assignments due on a weekday instead.
It was an asynchronous online course so I was not able to really connect with the instructor or the teaching assistant but I knew that I would be able to contact them for help if they need

The quizzes were hard, but I enjoyed the class !
I liked the online asynchronous formatting of this course, it made what is a low-level course a lot more accessible for students who are taking higher level courses. The notes were well made and documented in a way that would work for anyone, in my opinion.

I think this course was very well organized for the students to follow up with their work. Moreover, as the professor sends an email every week, on the assigned work, it made it way easier for us to check if we have completed all of our work every week.

The course material was very organized and thorough, which made it more manageable and easy to keep up with.
Very clear and sensible organization of the class. The material was quite challenging at times, but Prof. Karacaovali's lectures explained it nicely. I did not use the TA's discussion hours personally, but we were routinely reminded about the resource in case we needed extra help.
Overall, this course was great. Baybars was a great instructor and made this asynchronous course very easy to navigate through all semester.
The structure of this course aided my success as the lectures were broken down into several videos. Each video focused on a certain aspect of the topic which allowed for the information to be comprehended more easily. Although the lectures could be improved by containing more real life examples so he concepts can be further understood.
I enjoyed that we were provided the opportunity for extra credit, and the instructor was always available to help.
The overall course and instructor is awesome! I really enjoyed the class and was about to develop new knowledge of microeconomics. Thank you!
