Very good at notifying students & responding to E-mails.
Some of the courses material was not very helpful and it was confusing.
None
Great class and good professor knows a lot about the topics.
None
He explained things in detail and provided examples
Course was asynchronous and lectures were delivered in the form of video. Dr. Baybars Karacaovali is an expert in his field, and his ability to deliver confusing and hard-to-understand economic subjects in a digestible way was great.
I like how each week there was a different topic and different videos that allowed you to know what you are learning in that class.
I really liked learning about topics that I wasn't aware were part of our daily lives
The instructor taught the content very well. Some parts are confusing and needed extra time to understand.
This class, while challenging was also one of the best classes I have taken. I truly am thankful for the extra credit opportunities such as discussion forums as well as the policy regarding problem sets. It is evident that Professor Baybars Karacaovali genuinely cares about his students. Even though we are online, his care and passion does come through the screen making for an instructional yet entertaining class.
This course was very fun to engage in. It was my first economics course and I have a good first experience. I had a lot of fun learning about economics.
I appreciate the organization of the content as well as the flexibility of the due dates. It makes understanding to content a lot easier. (Also the video lectures and how it's pretty well spread out vs. an hour long lecture).
The instructor is very knowledgeable about the subject matter and shows that he cares about the students and their way of learning.
It was a great Economics course.

This course was very interesting and the layout was very easy to follow. All of the lessons and quizzes were laid out in a way that was predictable which allowed me to make a routine of completing the material. The instructor was also very good at explaining all of the concepts in detail and he made sure to cover any information we were going to need for the tests / quizzes!

I enjoyed the consistency of this course, and the various emails that the instructor provided to help inform his students of what's coming up on the next week!
I have no additional comments about this course and/or instructor.
The structure of the course is easy to navigate and helps with learning.
I thought the material in the course was interesting. I liked using the concepts to predict how firms and buyers respond to changes in the market.

Although the course was not very difficult, it was definitely interesting. I do feel it is necessary for this course or similar courses should be taken by all students. In my opinion, I believe the class broadens an individuals perspective on money and resources and better clarifies some of the common sense that students have developed throughout their life.
In regards to the instructor, he was clearly knowledgeable about the topic. He also provided numerous examples to help better explain certain concepts and also had different example problems during the video lecture as well.
For the following questions about the teaching assistant, all answers will be "Neutral" and/or "N/A" as I have not worked with him or her.

This asynchronous course was well-structured with clear objectives for each week. The lecture videos and practice problems helped to prepare for quizzes. The professor was very clear when explaining the concepts and his expectations. For the below answers, I never really had any interactions with the T.A., especially since the class was asynchronous, so I can't really answer for those. Though, I do know they were available for office hours.

The best instructor
I think the instructor did a fine job, especially considering it was all online.
good class
The resources, such as handouts and problem set solutions, that the instructor provided helped a lot with my understanding, especially since this course is asynchronous.
Instructor's digital lectures were very helpful, slides were laid out in a very organized manner
Sometimes, the homework and quizzes cover content not covered in the lectures.
I really liked how the instructor has included translations to the lecture videos. Very well organized class which I really liked.
