Made difficult topics easy to understand. Helped me learn about things that directly affect me.
Great instructor and gave us all the materials we needed to succeed. However, if we can do the class all over again, I would like to spend some more time doing in-class exercises to understand how to address the word problems.
Baybars is very knowledgable and throughout the course, he stayed on track with the contents. I know he tried his best to keep us engaged knowing this was a tough course for the first semester. We also had a few technical difficulties throughout the semester where zoom or internet was lagging due to his wifi. I recommend Starlink:) In the end, he did all of our courses from Shidler to fix the issue. Aside from the few hiccups, Baybars was awesome!
Economic theories and market dynamics have made this course incredibly engaging and thought-provoking. However, I've found it a bit challenging to stay focused during lectures, as the delivery style tends to be relatively steady and without variation, sometimes making it difficult to maintain my full attention.
Instructor was great, was able to simplify complex topics.
Overall, great Professor. Teaching both Macro/Microeconomics theories can be very boring and dry, yet Professor Baybars did his best to keep it exciting.
Baybars had a lot of econ to get through in 6 weeks. He did a good job of explaining key points in detail

There was very little class participation. I do not mind, but it can make a 3 hour lecture very dry.
I found this course to be highly beneficial and well-structured, particularly for an executive MBA and hybrid learning environment. I appreciated that the homework and examinations were directly related to the material covered in class, rather than being based on obscure chapters of the textbook. The final examination was fair. For improvement, I would recommend incorporating more group work during extended sessions and increasing engagement with the class to reduce long periods of lecturing. Overall, I gained substantial knowledge from this course and would recommend it to others.
