How To Apply (*for families seeking enrollment)
To apply for a space on the center’s waiting list, please do the following:
- Fill out the Application for Services (download fillable form): Application for Services
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of $25.00. Make your check or money order out to the University of Hawai‘i (or pay online here). You can mail a hard copy of your application with application fee to the address below (or email your application w/online payment to email@example.com with the subject line “application”. To be added to our wait list, a completed application must be received within 3 business days of the application fee payment. Application fee payments are non-refundable.

Upon receiving your application and fee, our office will date-stamp your application and add it to our waiting list. When a space for your child becomes available, you will be contacted. Should you choose to enroll your child at that time, you will be asked to provide further documentation and a $125 non-refundable deposit. Enrollment forms can be downloaded from our website (form fillable) and sent to our mailing address (above).
If interested in scheduling a tour of the center, please call our office at (808) 956-7963 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please let us know what day and site you would like to visit (see tour schedule below), your status (student or faculty/staff), child’s name and age, and if you have submitted an application.
Street parking or parking in the lower-campus parking structure is available for our Dole Street location.

UHMCC @ Kūhio in the parking lot in the front part of the campus (use spaces not marked as staff).
If you have disability-related needs, please inform us when you call so that we can arrange appropriate accommodations to best serve you.
The center’s main enrollment period takes place during March and April, for the following Fall semester. However, you may be offered a space at any time during the year if there are vacancies. Please feel free to call our office should you have questions about your child’s wait list status or any questions concerning the Center’s program.
As we may not be able to accommodate your child when you first are in need of childcare, we encourage you to explore our list of Preschools in the UH Area
