Mr. Noah Bentkowski, a double-major in Japanese and Engineering enrolled in the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, was selected as the US representative of the JAL Scholarship Program, sponsored by the JAL Foundation. This is a significant honor.
This is an all-expenses-paid Educational Scholarship Program that invites students from Asia and Oceania (one student per country/region) to Japan to discuss what the next generation can do to develop a more sustainable world. As the Scholarship marks its 50th year, the JAL Foundation decided to include the USA for the first time in many years.
Noah said he spent an extremely fruitful three weeks in Japan this summer. Congratulations, Noah!
