The University of Hawaiʻi will continue to adapt its COVID-19 guidelines for the 10-campus system in the coming weeks to reflect the most up-to-date state and federal recommendations, as more people are vaccinated and reported cases decline. The UH community will be notified when significant updates are made to the UH COVID-19 guidelines and web pages. Mahalo for your patience.
The University of Hawaiʻi 10 campus system is deploying a COVID-19-aware approach to providing a safer, high-quality education for new and returning students, faculty and support staff.

The LumiSight UH health check-in app, an easy and convenient method for individuals to conduct a daily check of their health status prior to coming onto any UH campus or an off-campus facility, is now available for download.
LumiSight UH is available for free on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. It is also available on the LumiSight UH website for those without access to a suitable mobile device, or those who prefer not to download the mobile app. Anyone who has to be on a UH campus or an off-campus facility is required to use the LumiSight UH app.
AlohaSafe Alert COVID-19 Notification App
The Hawaiʻi State Department of Health (DOH) in partnership with aio Digital
and the Hawaii Executive Collaborative has launched AlohaSafe Alert, a free, COVID-19 exposure notification app.
Once added to your smartphone, AlohaSafe Alert will send a notification within 48 hours if you come into close contact-within six feet for at least 15 minutes-with someone, who is also using the app, tests positive for the virus in the previous 14 days. All data collected will be kept anonymous, and only DOH will have
access to it.
The University of Hawaiʻi joins DOH in encouraging everyone to download and utilize the AlohaSafe Alert app. The more people who use the app, the more effective it will be to stop the spread of COVID-19.
UH provides information about positive and presumptive positive COVID-19 cases for people identified as being affiliated with the university (e.g., students or employees).
