October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (“NDEAM”). NDEAM is an annual awareness campaign established 78 years ago.  The purpose of NDEAM is to educate people about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. Throughout the month of October, all ten UH campuses engage in activities that may include education and awareness on disability employment issues and our commitment to an inclusive work culture.

For the year 2023, the theme is “Advancing Access and Equity” and in honor of NDEAM, the UH systemwide EEO Offices will soon host a webinar series on various topics.
