The UH M\u0101noa Environmental Health and Safety Office (EHSO) Laboratory Safety Program helps campus colleges and units ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant research environment across campus. The program provides guidance and support for faculty, staff, and students working in laboratories where hazardous chemicals and physical hazards are present. Services include laboratory inspections, Chemical Hygiene Plan Management, incident and near miss review, consultation on standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety training. The Lab Safety Program also promotes a safety culture through collaboration with campus researchers, helping implement best practices and meet regulatory requirements in all research and teaching laboratories.<\/p>\n
