COVID-19 Updates

Help us to keep our University of Hawai‘i community safe! As a UH University Housing resident, we would like to remind you about the following COVID-19 health and safety guidelines and recommendations:

Social Distancing

Social distancing
Please adhere to the following recommendations on social distancing:

  • A minimum of six (6) feet between individuals as recommended by the Center for Disease Control.
  • Building entrances: allow others to exit/enter before you approach the door, while keeping at least six (6) feet away.
  • For shared spaces: If space does not allow for six (6) feet distance, wait for the other individual(s) to leave the space before entering.

Face Coverings

Please adhere to the following recommendations on social distancing:
Mayor Kirk Caldwell signed Emergency Order No. 2020-07 mandating Oʻahu residents wear non-medical grade face coverings while in public to curb the spread of COVID-19. Please see https://hnl.info/alerts/wcBody.php?i=14B for details and exceptions.

For residents who do not have face coverings, UH employees are able to purchase these at the Mānoa Bookstore (valid UH ID) or at vending machines on campus.
