
About the New Warrior Scholarships (NWS)
New Warrior Scholarships are scholarships created with the New Warrior in mind, comprised of:
- Regents
- Provost Achievement (formerly Chancellor's)
- Mānoa Excellence
- Mānoa International Excellence

New Warrior Scholarship Application Checklist

1. Get Accepted by UH Mānoa and Have Your UH ID Number UH ID numbers are provided to students in their admissions acceptance letters. Admissions decisions take approximately 6-8 weeks from the time of application submission. To be eligible for the New Warrior Scholarships, you must submit a fully completed Admissions Application (including all self-reported fields, attaching high school/college transcripts, and etc.), along with an Admissions Application Fee by December 15. Note, students with an incomplete Admissions Application may be ineligible to apply for these scholarships. |

2. Submit a UH Mānoa New Warrior Scholarship Application Students without an acceptance and UH ID number prior to this date are ineligible to apply for the New Warrior Scholarships New Warrior Scholarship Applications are submitted in the Scholarship Application Portal. |

3. Attach and Submit Transcript(s) Unofficial or official transcripts are attached and submitted in the Scholarship Application Portal. |

4. Write NWS Essay Essays (600 words maximum) are written and submitted directly in the Scholarship Application Portal.

5. Check on your Letter(s) of Recommendation Students are encouraged to double-check with their recommenders to ensure Letter(s) of Recommendation are submitted prior to the deadline. Recommender(s) must attach and submit Letter(s) of Recommendation into the Scholarship Application Portal. |

6. Apply for RAPS Students applying for the Regents Scholarship must also complete additional requirements indicated in the Regents and Presidential Scholarship (RAPS) website. |
