New Warrior Scholarships are scholarships created with the New Warrior in mind, comprised of:

  • Provost Achievement (formerly Chancellor's)
  • Mānoa Excellence
  • Mānoa International Excellence

You are invited to think outside of the box, and to be creative, while demonstrating and communicating a good grasp of the topic, critical thinking, and clarity. Showcase who you are, and your specific passions and interests.
NWS Essay must be written and submitted within the scholarship's application portal

5)     Recommender(s) must attach and submit Letter(s) of Recommendation into the scholarship’s application portal.
Students are encouraged to double-check with their recommenders to ensure that Letter(s) of Recommendation are submitted prior to the deadline.

6)   Students applying for the Regents or Presidential Scholarships must also complete additional requirements indicated in the Regents and Presidential Scholarship (RAPS) website: hawaii.edu/offices/student-affairs/regents-and-presidential-scholars-program

7)     Students are encouraged to file a FAFSA by the deadline to increase one’s aid.
