CampFIRE Cyber Security Challenge

Join UH for a jeopardy-style Capture the Flag featuring real-life cyber attacks infographic

CyberHawaii, University of Hawai‘i, and State of Hawai‘i is hosting a jeopardy-style, Capture the Flag (CTF) event. This half-day, on-site event is free for security professionals and college students. Participants can play in a team of two or individually. CampFIRE CTF is primarily focused around incident response and contains challenges that are based on real-life attacks or inspired by day-to-day security tasks. Upon completion of the event, participants will have learned about tools and techniques to deal with actual cyber security threats.

Participants of THIS CampFIRE Cyber Security Challenge are eligible and encouraged to attend and mentor high school students at the GenCyber CampFIRE Cyber Security Challenge on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 8 am-12 noon at Honolulu Community College/PCATT. Now that you know the material, put it to the test by teaching it to someone else! Your mentorship will help shape the future of cyber security in Hawaii and encourage the next generation of cyber professionals
