GeoBlue International Student Health Insurance Plan

International Student Services (ISS), Office of Global Engagement, would like to notify students of another health insurance option that meets UH minimum coverage requirements. This plan, pre-screened by ISS and offered by health insurance company GeoBlue, is available to F-1 and J-1 students as well as students on OPT. The GeoBlue plan includes medical, prescription drug, mental health and nervous disorders, and pre-existing conditions coverage, along with laboratory, medical evacuation, repatriation, and accidental death and dismemberment benefits.

Enrollment Details
Spring Term Coverage Dates: January 1, 2025 – May 19, 2025
Enrollment Period Start Date: November 29, 2024
Cost for Spring Term: $675.00

For Dependents
Dependents are not eligible for the GeoBlue Student plan, but GeoBlue offers the XPLORER Long Term Expatriate plan as an alternative:
