On Sep. 5, 2025, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Venezuela under the 2021 designation..
TPS and related benefits associated with the 2021 designation will end on Nov 7, 2025 60 days after publication of the termination notice in the Federal Register scheduled to be published September 8th, 2025.
This termination only applies to the 2021 designation of Venezuela for TPS.
