As of March 17, all local Social Security Administration offices will close to the public for in-person services. This action is a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This may impact international students who may need to apply for a Social Security Number for employment. Applicants will need to wait for offices to re-open for in-person services such as applying for a new or duplicate Social Security card. See the SSA Coronavirus webpage.
