The ISS office is shifting to remote services and support for our international community. Per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance for social distancing, the ISS office is making the below changes effective Tuesday March 24, 2020:
Contacting the ISS:
We strongly urge you to submit questions to us via email or telephone.

Remote Advising:
In-person advising is shifted to telephone advising. Continue to make your appointment on our website. ISS cannot make international calls; let us know if you cannot be contacted via U.S telephone number. We can make other arrangements (ZOOM meeting, etc) to contact you.
Submitting Requests:

Log your request on the ISS student request submission page.

Submit relevant documents to the ISS via UH File Drop.
(in the field labeled “Recipient” enter “issstaff”; title the document with your last name and request type)

Travel Signature:

Please complete the ISS Travel Signature Request

The ISS can ship a signed I-20/DS-2019 to you.

Reminder: You do NOT need a travel signature to depart the U.S.

Receiving Processed Requests/Documents from the ISS:

The ISS will mail the processed request to you.
