Hawaii Covid-19 Pre-Test Program Put on Hold

In  a legislative briefing on July 13, Governor Ige announced that he would be extending the 14-day quarantine through August 31 for all passenger arrivals from outside the state. The Covid-19 pre-test program, which would have allowed individuals to bypass the quarantine if they had taken a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of arrival, has been put on hold and will not be implemented by the intended August 1 start date.
