FAQs: Information for International Students – Spring 2022

Below are FAQs related to the University’s adaptations to COVID-19 and its impacts on F-1/J-1 status. The ISS office will continue to update and add to the FAQs as new development takes place.

On April 26, 2021, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) issued a broadcast message that extends the guidance originally issued in March 2020 for the 2021-2022 academic year. F-1 students should continue to follow the March 2020 SEVP guidance for spring 2022. The ISS FAQs below represent our understanding of  F-1 students’ requirements at UH Mānoa for spring 2022.
