For KOKUA Students
Current KOKUA students who are requesting communication access services due to a hearing-related disability must meet with their KOKUA Counselor prior to the start of each term. At that time, students are asked to provide KOKUA staff with detailed and course-specific information about their communication access needs and provider preferences. Eligibility for this service is determined by the student’s respective KOKUA Counselor.
Requests must be made directly to KOKUA Staff and not thru a referral service or thru providers to ensure that the provider will be paid for the assignment.
Eligible students are asked to abide by KOKUA’s Interpreting/Captioning Procedures and Policies.
