Gabriel Lee, transitioned on January 1, 2024 to Strategic Advisor, American Savings Bank (ASB), from Executive Vice President Commercial Markets (division manager overseeing Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Cash Management and International Services).

Prior to joining ASB in 1998, Lee was a Vice President in commercial banking at First Hawaiian Bank. Between 1985 and 1996, he was with Bank of Hawaii primarily in corporate banking, and leaving as Vice President & Pacific Marketing Director of the Commercial Leasing Division.

He is a graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi (BA Economics), and Dartmouth College, The Amos Tuck School of Business, Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management.

Lee is currently on the Boards of: Director, ʻAhahui Koa Ānuenue (7/1/20 to 6/30/22 as Chair), Director & Treasurer, Diamond Head Theatre (2005 to 2008 as Chair), and Director, Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

Prior Boards include: Director, Waialae Country Club (2020 as President), Director, Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii (2015 to 2017 as Chair), Trustee, Saint Louis School (2012 to 2013 as Chair), Director, Hawaii Dental Service (2004 to 2008 as Chair), Director, Catholic Charities Family Services (2004 to 2005 as President), Director, Hawaii State Board of Public Accountancy (2012 to 2020), Director, Boy Scouts of America – Aloha Council, and Director, Pacific Links Hawaii Foundation.
