Would you like to get together with LIS friends?
Please come to our LIS alumni and friends of the program dinner in honor of Gail Morimoto who has been the heart and soul of the program for thirty years. It will take place at the Wai’oli Tea Room in Manoa Valley, Tuesday, April 11, 2006, 6:00 pm.
Please see the attached flyer and forward this to any lists that LIS grads might be on.
We are looking for photographs of Gail. Please send them to me (put your name on the back) and we will scan them and return them to you (Rebecca Knuth, LIS Porgram UH, 1680 East West Road POST 303a, Honolulu, Hawaii 96822). You can also send in photographs electronically (knuth@hawaii.edu). Junie Hayashi, our new Alumni President, is putting together a presentation for the dinner.
It would be fun if a lot of people (especially those who can't come to the dinner) would send Gail a postcard or note on her 30th anniversary with the program, April 1. The address would be
