COVID-19 Updates

Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19 and for the safety of our UHM ʻohana, Campus Mail Services will be implementing the following social distancing practices:

  • Only UH faculty, staff, students and our private mailbox holders are allowed into our office at this time.
  • Only two people are allowed in the office at a time. Please wait outside, if we are servicing two customers.
  • While waiting in line, please respect the minimum distance of at least 6ft.

Mail Services is supporting departments that are closed or low staffed by providing the following:

  • Buildings with direct delivery from US Postal Service (USPS)
    For the buildings that regularly receive direct deliveries from USPS and the department’s mailroom will not be accessible for such deliveries, mail can be forwarded to the Campus Mailroom. Mail Services will set aside the mail for authorized personnel to pick it up at the Campus Mailroom.
  • Courier Services/Special Deliveries
    The Campus Mailroom will accept deliveries (see exclusions below) from UPS, FedEx, and DHL; however, departments will be required to make prior arrangements with the courier service and UHM Mail Services to have their packages delivered to the Campus Mailroom. Perishable items and any items deemed dangerous or perishable by the Campus Mailroom staff will not be accepted.
