U H saves day image

University of UH at Mānoa will join thousands of Americans in a national campaign called America Saves Week by hosting its fourth annual UH Saves Day on Wednesday, February 27 and Thursday, February 28, to impart financial literacy to students, faculty and staff. There will be interactive exhibits, a scavenger hunt and a game show competition testing four student teams on financial concepts.

The expo will run on Wednesday, February 27, 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at Campus Center. Attendees are also eligible to participate in a scavenger hunt.

The LifeSmarts Challenge will be held on Thursday, February 28, 5:30–6:30 p.m. in the Hale Aloha Courtyard. The winning team will win two $250 scholarships.

Exhibitors

Exhibitors will include Bank of UH, UH Federal Credit Union, First Hawaiian Bank, Hawaiian Tel Federal Credit Union, Capital One 360 Bank, various State of UH departments, AARP UH, Better Business Bureau UH, UH Homeownership Center, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of UH, Internal Revenue Service, UH Mānoa Study Abroad Office, Financial Aid Services, UH Mānoa Student Parents at Mānoa and America Saves.
