Kapiʻolani Community College celebrates its 14th annual International Education Week, November 17–20.

International Education Week features a variety of activities from a game of Burmese Chinlone, which is a combination of sport, dance and elegant movement, to musical performances, numerous presentations and a cooking demonstration. Participants can also play international board and card games from around the world—crokinole, konane, loteria, mahjong, mille bornes, senet, tiddlywinks and yut nori.

International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that promotes schools and programs that prepare students for the global environment as well as quality international experiences abroad.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in the festivities. Go to Kapiʻolani CC’s International Education Week website for more information or download the event flyer.
