The Galliard String Quartet and friends perform at the UH West O’ahu Library.

The University of Hawaiʻi–West Oʻahu will be filled with the sounds of beautiful music this year as host to a Chamber Music Hawaiʻi concert series featuring the Spring Wind Quintet, Honolulu Brass Quintet and Galliard String Quartet. These Chamber Music Hawaiʻi ensembles will perform a three-part concert series at the university’s Kapolei campus. All ensemble members are full-time musicians with the Hawaiʻi Symphony Orchestra (formerly the Honolulu Symphony).

Open to all, the concerts are free for students and will take place in UH West Oʻahu’s Library—a marvelous acoustic setting for the evening performances. Audiences will also enjoy a free Chamber Music 102 presentation featuring a fun introduction to chamber music at the UH West Oʻahu campus by Assistant Professor of Music Jon Magnussen.
