First Lady Dawn Amano-Ige

For the first time since 2008, the NAFSA Association for International Educators Region XII conference was held in Hawaiʻi from October 26–30. University of Hawaiʻi educators were actively involved in the event, which connected more than 550 education professionals from Hawaiʻi, California, Nevada and the Pacific Islands as well as NAFSA staff from the national headquarters in Washington, D.C. to discuss issues, trends and student mobility in the rapidly changing and dynamic field of education.
