Gallery ʻIolani at Windward Community College presents works in clay and bronze by Kauaʻi native David Kuraoka, professor emeritus of art and former ceramics department head at San Francisco State University.

Kuraoka was named a Living Treasure of Hawaiʻi by the Honpa Hongwanji Mission, which honors those who have made outstanding contributions to Hawaiʻi.

Gallery ʻIolani will hold a artist reception with Kuraoka on Sunday, January 31, 2–4 p.m. with an artist talk from 4 p.m.

Exhibit details

Regular gallery hours are 1–5 p.m. Monday through Friday and Sunday. The gallery is closed on Saturdays. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
