As part of the statewide initiative to bring Native Hawaiian scholarship opportunities to underserved regions, Windward Community College will host a Scholarship ʻAha event on Wednesday, December 7, 6–8:30 p.m. at Windward CC, Hale ʻĀkoakoa 101

.

The event will provide an opportunity for students and parents to network with experts helpful in securing financial aid and scholarships for Native Hawaiians. The Scholarship ʻAha is free and open to the community. Dinner and refreshments will be provided.

“Scholarship ʻAha brings together all major funding opportunities for Native Hawaiians in one place,” said Windward CC acting Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Ardis Eschenberg. “Attendees will gain insight into the application process and helpful strategies on how to earn scholarships.”

The event is sponsored by Windward CC, University of Hawaiʻi, Native Hawaiian Education Association, Pacific Financial Aid Association, Office of Hawaiian Affairs and Hawaiʻi P&#8211.
