The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the Stan Sheriff Center on October 20 during the women’s volleyball match against UC Davis.

The Rainbow Wahine volleyball team officially opened the arena on October 20, 1994 in a four-set victory over San Jose State. Since its opening in 1994, the men’s and women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball teams have enjoyed tremendous success on the court while Hawaiʻi fans have come out to support the home team.

A total of 8,796.915 fans have come through the gates to watch 1,792 Rainbow Wahine and Rainbow Warrior home games.
