The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics Department posted a new record of student-athletes who were named All-Academic Big West honorees during the 2019–20 season.

Eighty-six student-athletes from winter and spring sports earned the All-Academic title. The sports included baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, beach volleyball, men’s and women’s golf, softball, men’s and women’s tennis, track and field, men’s volleyball and water polo.

The women’s track and field team had the most honorees with 23 student-athletes, followed by baseball and men’s volleyball (9), women’s basketball (8) and water polo (7).

To be eligible for the all-academic team, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, be at least a sophomore academically prior to the season which the award is being received, and compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests (some sports exempt of participation criteria due to canceled seasons).
