It is the first time this season that Hawaiʻi players have earned a Big West weekly honor. The last Rainbow Wahine to earn Offensive Player of the Week was Jolie Rasmussen on September 9, 2019—the first week of the 2019 season.

The Wahine next face Long Beach State on October 1, at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
