University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo women’s volleyball defensive specialist Tani Hoke voted as the PacWest Defender of the week after she had 43 digs in three matches as the Vulcans won two of three contests.
Hoke had 22 digs and scored four service aces against the Eagles. The senior now has 98 career aces and 1,503 digs since the spring of 2021. The Hawaiʻi native is listed fourth in the PacWest this year with 3.98 digs per set. The four aces were a season high.
The Vulcans will compete against the Westmount Warriors on November 1 at the Murchison Gym in Santa Barbara, California.
