University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa women’s volleyball outside hitter Caylen Alexander repeated as the Big West Offensive Player of the Week on September 23 after putting away 61 kills over three matches on the road.
The junior averaged 4.69 kills per set over the week, maintaining her status among the nation’s leaders. Alexander has posted at least 20 kills in seven of UH‘s 10 matches this season and ranks fourth in the nation in kills per set and sixth in points per set. She’s second nationally in total kills and total points. She leads the Big West in all of those categories and is second in the conference and 20th nationally in attacks per set.
Alexander earned her first Big West Offensive Player of the Week award on September 16. She had six Freshman of the Week awards in 2022.
