Pofele Ashlock and Nick Cenacle

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa football team was selected seventh in the 2025 Mountain West preseason poll, as voted by league media at the conference’s media days in Las Vegas.

Wide receivers Pofele Ashlock and Nick Cenacle were also named to the All-Mountain West Preseason Team, marking the team’s first multiple selections since 2021. The duo is the only returning football bowl subdivision receiver pair with more than 1,000 career receiving yards each at their current school.

Ashlock and linebacker Jamih Otis are representing the Rainbow Warriors in Las Vegas.

Rainbow Warrior football returns 14 starters under head coach Timmy Chang, who is entering his fourth year. The Warriors open fall camp on July 23 and open the season on August 23 against Stanford at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.
