University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Athletics had 76 student-athletes receive the D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award for attaining a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher through the end of the 2024–25 school year.

“Our Vulcans student-athletes continue to raise the bar on the field and in the classroom,” UH Hilo Athletics Director Patrick Guillen said. “Their ability to juggle demanding course loads, rigorous travel schedules and relentless hours of training and competition is nothing short of remarkable. Congratulations on another outstanding year of academic success.”

This once again marks a new record high with Vulcans student-athletes combining for a 3.32 overall GPA.
