University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo men’s golf swept the first Pacific West Conference men’s golf weekly awards of the season, sharing Co-Player of the Week honors between Ben Crinella and Jacob Torres, along with Team of the Week recognition.
Crinella and Torres claimed individual wins on the Vulcans’ season-opening trip to Washington, finishing in first place at the Saint Martin’s University Bishop Invitational and the Western Washington University Invitational.
The three-time reigning PacWest Champions posted fifth and seventh place finishes, respectively, placing ahead of all fellow PacWest schools at each event filled with regional teams.
