This week’s UH News Image of the Week is from UH Mānoa’s Ty McDonald, a College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience extension agent based at the Kona Cooperative Extension office. He teaches plant propagation classes to West Hawaiʻi Master Gardeners.
McDonald shared: “Start several papaya plants every year to ensure a continuous supply of easily accessible fruits, such as these keiki of the UH-developed ‘Sunrise’ papaya—the gold standard of solo type papayas.”
