
University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s volleyball setter Tread Rosenthal and outside hitter Adrien Roure were named to the inaugural AVCA Men’s Collegiate Player of the Year Watch List, which features 15 players from 11 schools. UH is one of four programs with multiple honorees, joining Loyola Chicago, Pepperdine, and UCLA.
Rosenthal, a junior, ranks fourth nationally in assists per set (10.77), while Roure, a sophomore, is averaging 3.17 kills per set on .417 hitting efficiency. Both earned first-team AVCA All-America honors last season.
Additional players may be added to the list during the season, with semifinalists announced in early April, and the Player of the Year revealed at the 2026 national championship. UH Mānoa men’s volleyball have won the award five times, most recently with Jakob Thelle in 2023.
