eBanner website on a laptop

The University of Hawaiʻi has launched a new eBanner Transition website to provide employees across the 10-campus system with the most current and comprehensive information about the ongoing eBanner system transition.

The site serves as a central hub for updates, known issues, working session summaries and progress reports, providing visibility into the intensive work underway with Ellucian consultants and campus subject-matter experts on the enterprise student information system.

The eBanner system supports nearly all student-related academic, financial and administrative functions across UH campuses, and the university has been working to address the disruptions following its January 2026 implementation.

“Clear, centralized communication is essential as we resolve issues and move forward,” said program lead Kim Siegenthaler, senior advisor to UH President Wendy Hensel. “This site gives our campuses direct visibility into what is being worked on, what has been resolved, and what comes next.”

The website complements the existing eBanner Community listserv and is intended to ensure consistent, transparent information sharing as stabilization work continues. Visit the eBanner Community group to join and view past email updates.

“Our employees need transparent, up-to-date information as we work through this transition,” said Hensel. “This new website reflects our commitment to open communication and to supporting our campuses as we complete the eBanner transition and strengthen our systems.”

University employees are encouraged to bookmark the Banner Transition website for ongoing updates.
