

The No. 3 University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s volleyball team claimed two Big West Player of the Week honors following a two-match sweep of No. 6 BYU.
Outside hitter Louis Sakanoko was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Tread Rosenthal earned Setter of the Week recognition. It marked Sakanoko’s first weekly award this season and second of his career. Rosenthal collected his fifth setter honor of the season and 10th overall.
Sakanoko totaled 30 kills (4.29 per set) while hitting .436 across the series. He added 11 digs, three aces and three blocks, posting 15 kills in each match.
Rosenthal averaged 11.14 assists per set, guiding an offense that hit .455 for the series. He also contributed seven kills, four aces, 11 digs and four blocks, tying a career high with four aces in the rematch.
The Rainbow Warriors continues its homestand with matches against Pepperdine on March 4 and 6, at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
