The July issue of the University of Hawai‘i’s Mālamalama magazine is now available online at http://www.hawaii.edu/malamalama with a preview of Hamilton Library’s post-flood renovations and articles exploring how ethnomathematics is making a tough subject relevant and Ocean FEST is making science fun.

In online videos, Wahine Softball Coach Bob Coolen reflects on the team’s record-breaking World-Series season and Librarian Lynn Davis demonstrates how to save flood-damaged documents. A slideshow illustrates a decade of growth at UH Hilo under the tenure of former Chancellor Rose Tseng.

Read about jumping Amber Kaufman’s dilemma, UH Alumni Association President Douglas Inouye’s passion for photography, entrepreneurial students’ invention and honohono grass’s medicinal properties.
