College of Social Sciences announces October call-in radio lineup

UH Mānoa’s College of Social Sciences announces the October guest line-up for the call-in radio program titled, “Thinking Out Loud” Talking Issues, Taking Action.”
 
  • October 11:  Issei Women (Guest: Kelli Nakamura)
  • October 18: Growing up With A Japanese War-Bride Mother (Guest: Margaret Dilloway)
  • October 25:  Discussion on the novel, Anshu: Dark Sorrow (Guest: Juliet Kono)
All call-in radio programs air on AM 1210 KZOO at 6:30 p.m. and are hosted by UH Mānoa faculty including Christine Yano, George Tanabe, Willa Tanabe, Warren Nishimoto and Michi Kodama-Nishimoto. To join the hour-long discussion, call (808) 941-5966 or email jcch@am1210kzoo.com anytime during the program.  Questions and comments may also be entered on the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i Facebook page.
