Leeward Community College celebrates Community College Month in April with an array of events open to the community.

"I am so proud of all the important work done at community colleges, both here in Hawaiʻi and across the nation," said Chancellor Manny Cabral. "Community colleges enroll 44 percent of all American higher education undergraduates, awarding about 932,000 associate degrees or certificates annually, with 12.4 million students attending courses at community colleges each year. By earning an associate degree, our students can increase their earnings by an average of $7,900 annually over those with only a high school diploma. It's a pleasure to invite the community to the diverse slate of events and activities presented this month."
