Join experts from the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center for an education event highlighting the impact of research on improving survival and the quality of life of those diagnosed with cancer.  Quest for a Cure: Progress in Cancer Research will be held Saturday, June 11 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and a continental breakfast will be served.  The cost is $10.00.  Hawaiʻi News Now Anchor Keahi Tucker will host.

Attendees will hear a panel discussion on the role of research in improving treatment, care, survival, and quality of life for cancer patients. They’ll also chat with the experts during a question and answer session designed to increase awareness about research to find a cure.

The event is hosted by the UH Cancer Center, with generous support from the Friends of the UH Cancer Center. To register contact the UH Conference Center at (808) 956-8204 or visit http://www.manoa.hawaii.edu/uhconferencecenter/.  Registration is recommended by June 7 due to space limitations.
