This Spring, Windward Community College’s Hōkūlani Imaginarium will debut three new full-dome shows along with its popular live Stargazing program and special Valentine’s Day event.

HAWAI‘I PREMIERE! Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of the Moon”
Classic rock music and mind-blowing HD graphics.

Time: 8:30 p.m. 

HAWAI‘I PREMIERE! “Ancient Skies”
This show explores possibilities that lie hidden within some of mankind’s oldest monuments—the foundations of modern science.

Date: Friday, April 8, 2016
Time: 7:00 p.m. 

HAWAI‘I PREMIERE! “Voyages of the Starship Discovery”
The Imaginarium’s first audience-interactive show taking the attendees on a voyage across the Solar System and beyond.

Date: Friday, May 13, 2016
Time: 8:15 p.m. 

Cost:  $7/adults; $6/UH students/Military (with ID)/seniors (65+); $5/child (ages 4–12)

Located on the Windward Community College campus at 45-720 Kea‘ahala Rd. in Kāne‘ohe, Imaginarium shows are open to the public and enjoyed by audiences of all ages.            

Special showtimes this spring will be Valentine’s Day (7 & 8:30 p.m., $15 special event admission; 21+ years of age only), and Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day at 2 p.m. The Imaginarium will continue to offer its popular Stargazing program on the second Wednesday of each month at
7 p.m. presented by Aeropsace Exploration Lab and Imaginarium Specialist Krissie Kellogg. 

About the Hōkūlani Imaginarium
Located on the Windward Community College campus at 45-720 Kea‘ahala Rd. in Kane‘ohe. Hawaiian for Starry Heavens, the Hōkūlani Imaginarium is a high-tech planetarium and multi-media facility. The 84-seat theater operates a Definiti 4K fulldome system from Sky-Skan. The Digital Sky 2 technology allows audiences to experience immersive adventures in a true 360° environment. Viewers feel like they are part of the unfolding scene, whether it is falling through a black hole, flying through Saturn’s rings or witnessing the beginnings of the universe.
