The various nurseries attending the sale will be selling colorful ti varieties, Hawaiian plants including native ferns and Hawaiian varieties of sugarcane, fruit trees, anthuriums, orchids, heliconias, gingers, succulents, bromeliads, sundews, herbs, vegetables, and many other plants for homes and gardens.  Handmade ceramic planters and University of Hawai‘i vegetable seed varieties will also be available.

Arboretum volunteers will sell jams and jellies made from local fruits as well as fresh lei and wristlets, spring wreaths, oshibana crafts and dried hat lei.  Hawaiian honey will also be for sale. A keiki booth – run by Lyon’s Education Department – will provide fun nature-based activities for children while parents shop.

There will be no parking available at Lyon Arboretum, except for individuals with official Disability Parking Placards. The general public is asked to park legally in the surrounding Mānoa neighborhood and either walk up to the sale or take advantage of the free shuttle service offered by the arboretum. The shuttle service will have pick-up and drop-off points at the intersections of Po‘elua Street and Mānoa Road, and Nipo Street and Mānoa Road.

Proceeds from the sale help to support Lyon Arboretum programs.
