UH Maui College will hold an open house on Tuesday, November 20, 5–7 p.m. in the student lounge in the Pilina Building.

Everyone is invited to attend -- whether first-time, returning or transfer college student, parent or someone seeking online classes.  Faculty will be there to answer questions, and staff will offer guidance in the admissions application process.

“If your goal is to have a degree, you can begin or complete your college journey here,” said Chancellor Lui Hokoana. “The amount of support the college community provides is unparalleled and, once you become a student, you’ll realize it’s totally worth it.”

Attendees are urged to explore courses, degree programs and UH Maui College’s student support services. Financial aid staff can discuss tuition and payment options, loan programs and scholarship opportunities that help make college affordable.

Counselors will be present to help busy working adults determine how they can pursue a college degree or certificate. High school students who are considering UH Maui College’s Early College program will also get their questions answered.

Those on Lānaʻi and Moloka‘i may participate by visiting their respective educational centers during the same time as the UH Maui College open house.

Attendees can learn about career paths, transfer opportunities, child-care services, the laptop loan program, distance learning, non-credit courses and student organizations..
