Cybersecurity workshop for businesses in Hawai‘i

A one-day workshop on cybersecurity for small and medium businesses in Hawai‘i will be held on Wednesday, March 20, at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa is sponsoring “Gearing Up for Cybersecurity Defense.”

The workshop features a variety of IT experts from small and large companies in Hawaiʻi and cybersecurity experts from the FBI and National Security Agency. Speakers will share their knowledge and experience on current and emerging cyber threats, as well as provide their recommendations, best practices and tips to help business owners develop a simple and practical response plan to cyber attacks to keep their business operating.
