UH launches ‘a place for you,’ statewide campaign

The campaign is scheduled to run through March 2023 on social media platforms, local television and radio stations statewide.

At $3,000 a year, a UH Community College education is affordable and valuable.

Ah You's dream is to become a cinematographer and use her talent to shine the spotlight upon her lāhui.

An estimated 2,900 attended the event, along with hundreds of UH Mānoa students, faculty and staff staffing the event and exhibits.

2,700 students received free college advising since the launch of Next Steps in 2020.

Launched in 2019, the campaign has provided scholarships to three local students.

Students can sign up for either the February 2 or 16 virtual session set for 5:30–7:30 p.m.

Acceptances and invitations to apply to UH campuses are going out to qualified students.

UH Mānoa will continue to take a holistic approach to reviewing applications due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Hawaiʻi high school counselors play a pivotal role in UH Mānoaʻs local student recruitment efforts.
