The UH Mānoa campus transformation includes converting interior roads into pedestrian malls and increasing and improving spaces—indoors and out—for learning, study, collaboration and recreation.
The project will convert Sinclair Library into a hub of student interaction with modern, comfortable spaces for individual study, group study, academic advising and tutoring, and more.
Planning has begun with a $700,000 state appropriation, and Gov. David Ige has included the university’s $41 million request for the project in his proposed budget.
