3 UH Hilo tennis players earn academic honors

Jaime Paquet earned the recognition for the second straight year alongside first-time honorees Iori Furuhata and Victoria Ricaurte-Cabas.

Lexie Tilton came to UH Hilo for Division II softball. She leaves with a real estate license, a law school seat, and a plan.

Blake Saucedo was recognized for leading the Vulcans to a victory over HPU with a complete-game shutout.

Lexie Tilton, Janessa Santos and Rayna White were recognized with conference awards.

Blake Saucedo led the Vulcans by pitching a nine-inning complete-game shutout.

Elle Otani led the Vulcans, while a balanced team effort secured the victory at Aliante Golf Club.

Led by Dylan Bercan’s second consecutive individual title at eight-under par, the Vulcans captured their seventh conference crown

Honorees from a variety of majors and sports were recognized for excellence in the classroom.

The Vulcans wrapped up a week-long trip to Japan, highlighted by exhibition games against Josai University and Nippon Sport Science University.

UH Hilo basketball players Kaile Cruz, Melanie Hiu, Mindy Kawaha, Fabio Da Rocha, Jamal Entezami and Julio Montes II were recognized.
